![]() Weeping Yoshino Cherry Plant Description - Weeping Yoshino Cherry, also called Shidare Yoshino, is a cultivar of the hybrid Yoshino Cherry. A very popular white flowering cherry tree, the Weeping Yoshino Cherry blooms in the Spring before its leaves emerge. With gracefully weeping branches, these Japanese Cherry trees are wonderful urban trees. Weeeping Yoshino Cherries are small deciduous trees that at maturity grow to be about 50 feet in height. They do well in full sun and moist, but well drained, soil. Weeping Yoshino cherries are excellent trees for home landscaping. We are now taking orders for our 4-18" Weeping Yoshino Cherry rooted cuttings for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010. We have retail packages of 5 trees for sale at $40.00 per package. Our retail packages include shipping.
Thank You for your orders. All orders are shipped via Priority Mail. Planting Instructions - Dig a hole three times the diameter of the root system, with a depth no deeper than the original soil line on trunk. Break up the soil to the finest consistency possible. Place plant in hole and fill, compacting the fill dirt. Water the plant heavily to seal soil around the roots and remove air pockets. Fertilize according to the recommendation of your local agriculture extension agents, or fertilize based on your own knowledge and experience. Stake your tree(s) for the first one or two years of growth. For information on wholesale quantities of this plant and on larger sizes in container and field grown material, please call, fax or e-mail your requests.
